Fundraising Events
Drogheda Women's & Children's refuge centre, relies on the community to help us with fundraising.We need funding to enable us to provide the small things for Women and Children that are not covered by our state funding. In the summer we like to bring the children on day trips to the beach or zoo and the money raised helps pay towards the transport and a small picnic for the children. The ladies coming into the refuge have often left their homes quickly and have not brought their clothes and toiletries with them.We have donated clothes to give to the ladies and their children, but we need money to buy new underwear, toothbrushes, hairbrushes and socks.
